I'm Yours by The Script

You touch these tired eyes of mine

And map my face out line by line
And somehow growing old feels fine
I listen close for I'm not smart
You wrap your thoughts in works of art
And they're hanging on the walls of my heart

I may not have the softest touch
I may not say the words as such
And though I may not look like much

I'm yours
And though my edges may be rough
I never feel I'm quite enough
It may not seem like very much
But I'm yours

You healed these scars over time
Embraced my soul

You loved my mind
You're the only angel in my life
The day news came my best friend died
My knees went week and you saw me cry
Say I'm still the soldier in your eyes

I may not have the softest touch
I may not say the words as such
And though I may not look like much

I'm yours

And though my edges may be rough
I never feel I'm quite enough
It may not seem like very much
But I'm yours

I may not have the softest touch
I may not say the words as such
I know I don't fit in that much

But I'm yours

Ingrid Michaelson - The Way I Am

Music break muna. :P

If you were falling, then I would catch you.
You need a light, I'd find a match.

Cuz I love the way you say good morning.
And you take me the way I am.

If you are chilly, here take my sweater.
Your head is aching, I'll make it better.

Cuz I love the way you call me baby.
And you take me the way I am.

I'd buy you Rogaine when you start losing all your hair.
Sew on patches to all you tear.

Cuz I love you more than I could ever promise.
And you take me the way I am.
You take me the way I am.
You take me the way I am.

Gabay (Callalily)

Andito lang ako
Gumagabay Sayo
Laging nakatitig
Kahit sa panaginip

Lumipas ang taon
Ako'y nawalay saiyo
Nilamon na ng oras
Ang ating samahan

Ngayon wala ka na
Saan pa pupunta
Doon ba o dito?
Gusto ko nang sumuko
Ngunit sinabi mo

Andito lang ako
Gumagabay sa'yo
Laging Nakatitig
Kahit sa panaginip
Hindi Pababayaan
Ikaw ay Iingatan
Asahan mong nandito lang ako

Ginawa na ang lahat
Upang ika'y mahanap
Suntok sa buwan ako
Umaasa

Ngayon wala ka na
Saan pa pupunta
Doon ba o dito?
Gusto ko nang sumuko
Ngunit sinabi mo

Andito lang ako
Gumagabay sa'yo
Laging Nakatitig
Kahit sa panaginip
Hindi Pababayaan
Ikaw ay Iingatan
Asahan mong nandito lang ako
Asahan mong Nandito lang ako

Ngunit Sinabi mo....
Ngunit Sinabi mo........

Andito lang ako
Gumagabay sa'yo
Laging Nakatitig
Kahit sa panaginip
Hindi Pababayaan
Ikaw ay Iingatan
Asahan mong nandito lang ako
Asahan mong nandito lang ako

Asahan mong andito lang ako...

Random updates and Ne-Yo

I was freaking out the other day already because of my uber toxic schedule. I really thought my it will clear up a bit after April. But after that same month, I was given a new perspective on the word "disappointment". Apparently, April was just the red carpet towards a bigger hall of paper works, meetings, deadlines and a Shrek-like face.

Tomorrow I'll be off to another city for a meeting, I'm hoping to get some RnR after on saturday night though. If I get to meet up with my best bud, we're prolly be in it for a lot of dangerous uhhhmmm adventure LOL. But i doubt since we're with different groups. Oh freedom!!! (kidding)

Now I'm back to blogging randon life stuff, which I think is a sign of stress. Oh well papel, here's a song from Ne-Yo. There's something about the lyrics that makes me remember someone. uyyy issue. :P

Part of the List

Style of your hair,
shape of your eyes and your nose,
the way you stare
As if you see, right through to my soul,

It's your left hand and the way
that it's not quite as big as your right,
the way you stand in the mirror
before we go out at night,

Our quiet time,
your beautiful mind,

They're a part of the list.
Things that I miss.
Things like your funny little laugh,
the way you smile or the way we kiss.

What I noticed is this:
I come up with
something new, every single time
that I sit and reminisce.

The way you sweet smell
lingers when you leave a room,
(you leave a room)
Stories you tell as we lay
in bed all afternoon.
(all afternoon)

I dreamed you now every night
in my mind is where we meet.
(my mind is where we meet)
and when I'm awake
staring at pictures of you asleep.

Touching your face,
invading you space.

They're a part of the list.
Things that I miss.
Things like your funny little laugh,
the way you smile or the way we kiss.

What I noticed is this:
I come up with
something new, every single time
that I sit and reminisce.

Oooh, and you'll live in my memories forever more I swear.
And you'll live in my memories forever more I swear.

They're a part of the list.
Things that I miss.
Things like your funny little laugh,
the way you smile, or the way we kiss.

What I noticed is this:
I come up with
something new, every single time
that I sit and reminisce.

Importanteng Bilog

Pfft!

Never Say Never by the Fray (Cover, Cris C.)

*Note: I have tons of food posts coming up and a New Year Post (I know it's uber late, shoot me why don't yah!?). Just been really really busy. As in Really. So now, music post muna. Just filling in the dead blog space and letting ya'll know that I'm still alive. *Peace*!!

In the meantime, here's Cris C's cover of Fray's Never Say Never (Don't Let Me Go). Enjoy! :P

Some things we don't talk about
better do without
just hold a smile
we're falling in and out of love
the same damn problem

together all the while
you can never say never
why we don't know when
time and time again
younger now then we were before
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go

picture, you're the queen of everything
as far as the eye can see
under your command
i will be your guardian
when all is crumbling
steady your hand

you can never say never
why we don't know when
time and time again
younger now then we were before
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go

we're falling apart
and coming together again and again
we're coming apart
but we pull it together
pull it together, together again

don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go,
don't let me go(x2)

Gravity

Gravity by Sarah Bareilles

Something always brings me back to you.
It never takes too long.
No matter what I say or do I'll still feel you here 'til the moment I'm gone.

You hold me without touch.
You keep me without chains.
I never wanted anything so much than to drown in your love and not feel your rain.

Set me free, leave me be. I don't want to fall another moment into your gravity.
Here I am and I stand so tall, just the way I'm supposed to be.
But you're on to me and all over me.

You loved me 'cause I'm fragile.
When I thought that I was strong.
But you touch me for a little while and all my fragile strength is gone.

Set me free, leave me be. I don't want to fall another moment into your gravity.
Here I am and I stand so tall, just the way I'm supposed to be.
But you're on to me and all over me.

I live here on my knees as I try to make you see that you're everything I think I need here on the ground.
But you're neither friend nor foe though I can't seem to let you go.
The one thing that I still know is that you're keeping me down

Upuan by Gloc 9 feat Zelle

Kayo po na naka upo,
Subukan nyo namang tumayo
At baka matanaw, at baka matanaw na nyo
Ang tunay na kalagayan ko

Ganito kasi yan eh...

Verse 1:

Chorus:

Kayo po na naka upo,
Subukan nyo namang tumayo,
Baka matanaw, at baka matanaw na nyo
Ang tunay na kalagayan ko

Verse 2:

Kaya...

Wag kang masyadong halata
Bato-bato sa langit
Ang matamaay wag magalit
O bato-bato bato sa langit
Ang matamaan ay
Wag masyadong halata
Wag kang masyadong halata
Hehey, (Wag kang masyadong halata)
(Wag kang masyadong halata)
Yeahhey...

Invisible

I’m taking it slow
As I’m drifting away
Before I’m letting go
And utter things I’d like to say

People are slowly forgetting
And things are becoming easy

And bset is starting to settle in
With friends whom I’ve trusted dearly
Slowly noticing things not seen
That I’m moving away clearly

No more good byes, just a smile
No more good byes, just a hug from a mile

Soon… soon…

--------------------------------------------

On a lighter note, I would like to thank a good friend for tagging me along at Marie Digby's meet and greet. Though my phone went dead (such an unlucky bastard!) just in time when I wanted to shoot some video.
woot woot!

But I'm just sooooooo in love with her. She's just soooo HOT.

LSS #2

The Man I was With You by Jimmy Bondoc

listen just hear me out
yes i know we agreed
when we break up we'd never give in to this need
to admit to each other
i miss you

listen just hear my cry
no i won't break my word
if i do say i miss you it would never be heard
let my heart whisper
all that it needs to

how could you make me take a start?
then just leave me here hanging
can't even say how i'm feeling
how could you make them break my heart?
if i can't say i miss you
let me say one last thing

*i miss him
and all the things he could do
yes/oh, i miss him
just as much as i miss you
oh, i miss him
i know you're wondering who
yes, i miss him
i miss the man i was with you
oh i would never be the same

listen just hear my voice
can you hear all the tears?
that i'm planning to hide
for the next thousand years
just as long as you know that
i love you

repeat *,#
except last line

how can a blind man find the light?
how can i find the kind of right?
how could you take away my sight?
how could you lose me in the night?
then you took away the heart in me
now i'm losing this fight
no i would never ever be the same

ooh.. ohh

oh, i miss him
and all the things he could do
yes, i miss him
just as much as i miss you
oh i miss him
i know by now you know who
yes, i miss him
i know by now you know who
i miss him
i miss the man i was with you

oh, i would never be the same

LSS

LSS: (Last song syndrome) that song which one last heard but couldn't get out of his system... LSS bow.

HINDI KO KAYA

INTRO

Magmula nang magkalayo

Araw-gabi nalulungkot'

Di matanggap ng damdamin

Na ikaw ay 'di na akin

REFRAIN

Pa'no ang gagawin ko

Na sana'y nasa piling mo

Sana'y hindi tayo nagkalayo

Sana'y naririnig mo

CHORUS

Hindi ko kaya ang limutin kita

Masdan mo, lumuluha ang aking mga mata

Pilitin ko man, ako'y nasasaktan

Ang katotohanan ay mahal pa rin kita

Nasa'n ka man, sana'y dinggin

Puso ko ay muling mahalin

Ang nagdaan muling balikan

Muling buhayin ang pagmamahalan

[Repeat REFRAIN]

Philips Bandwidth and the FullSound experience

Philips is now again making noise with their launching of The Philips Bandwidth Virtual Battle of The Bands.

The contest is meant to help unsigned bands take full advantage of the new digital multimedia technology in sharing their music with the rest of the music community.

How? Lemme summarize... Your band... two original songs... Philips Youtube channel. Simple enough? So, join now!

(What about a blogger band group where I can play my triangle or my egg shaker? C'mon!!! Ewik tara! ).

The contest will be judged by DJ Francis Reyes (NU107.5 & The dawn), Cookie Chua (Color it Red), and Raimund Marasigan (Sandwich). All three will mentor the final crop of bands before the finals. Grand prize winer will take home 50,000 Php worth of cash ad prizes.

For more information, please do visit the Bandwidth website.

FullSoud

Philips FullSound brings CD listening to MP3, fuller bass with greater depth and impact, restored sense of spaciousness that is lacking in compressed audio, and enhanced sound precision and detail.

I've experienced this with my free Philips GoGear Spark. Though they say, to fully experience FullSound, (at its max) you gotta have high definition headset. Philips supplies superior quality earphones with each FullSound GoGear player. Designed to follow the curvature of the human ear, its ergonomic design enables exquisite noise isolation, as well as being very comfortable to wear (calling Philips, can I have one!!??? kidding).

But of course, GoGear Spark is just one in the Philips GoGear collection. You've got the LUXE, Aria, Muse, Opus, Vibe, the Raga and the Mix. The Aria ad the Opus are my personal fave.

I've let one friend use my Spark , and this is what she has to say:

I am not so much into gadgets. Give me one electronic gadget and I would not even go into studying its features. But there is one thing that I am into, and that is music.

With so many gadgets being sold in the market, fickle-minded people like me are, indeed, challenged when it comes to choosing the right item to suit our needs. Take MP3 players, for instance. There’s Zune from Microsoft, the iPod from Apple, there’s the Zen from Creative, then there’s Go Gear Spark from Philips.

What attracted me to the Go Gear Spark was the size of their smaller devices. What I have is the 4GB, and it’s handy and lightweight and can actually be worn hanging from the neck. The metal lining as well as the black backing material gives it a sleek classy finish. The screen, which is actually also a control pad which works by pressing the edges, makes it easy to navigate through the selection. This feature gives it an edge over the iPod Shuffle. And there is, of course, the Philips brand, which signifies quality.

I guess one might say that Zune is actually better than the iPod Shuffle or that people would rather go for a Go Gear Spark than a Zen. I’d say, your needs determine the type of player for you. For people like me who are always on the go and want it simple and quick, without needing the use of a software, a Go Gear would be the best choice.

Philips Spark

Sound: 9 out of 10 (Helloooo???! It has FullSound!)

Interface/ Design: 8.5 out of 10

PC compatibility: 10 (has plug and play feature and works just like your regular USB/ external memory stick)

Controls: 8 out of 10 (you press the edge of the screen which makes buttons unecessary, really sleek! No more dirt being caught i betwee buttons - libag galore ito, haha)

Portable: 9 out of 10 (it needs only an arm band, and it's perfect for jogging/ running and working out in the gym)

So there you go peeps!

For music lovers out there. I bid you to try any of the GoGear collection (and look for the FullSound logo).

Till my next gadget rave!!!!

Peace out!

Thinking of You...

Thinking of you by Katy Perry

Comparisons are easily done
Once you've had a taste of perfection
Like an apple hanging from a tree
I picked the ripest one I still got the seed

You said move on, where do I go
I guess second best is all I will know

Cause when I'm with him I am thinking of you
Thinking of you
What you would do if you were the one
Who was spending the night
Oh I wish that I was looking into your eyes

You're like an Indian summer in the middle of winter
Like a hard candy with a surprise center
How do I get better once I've had the best
You said there's tons of fish in the water
So the waters I will test
[ Find more Lyrics on
www.mp3lyrics.org/peCP ]

He kissed my lips, I taste your mouth
He pulled me in I was disgusted with myself

Cause when I'm with him I am thinking of you
Thinking of you
What you would do if you were the one
Who was spending the night
Oh I wish that I was looking into...

You're the best and yes I do regret
How I could let myself let you go
Now the lesson's learned
I touched it I was burned
Oh I think you should know
Cause when I'm with himI am thinking of you
Thinking of you
What you would do if you were the one
Who was spending the night
Oh I wish that I was looking into your eyes
Looking into your eyes
Looking into your eyes
Oh won't you walk through and bust in the door
And take me away
Oh no more mistakes
Cause in your eyes
I'd like to stay...

Broken Strings

Broken Strings
Let me hold you for the last time
It’s the last chance to feel again
But you broke me, now I can’t feel anything

When I love you It’s so untrue,
I can’t even convince myself
When I’m speaking, it’s the voice of someone else

Oh it tears me up,
I tried to hold but it hurts too much
I tried to forgive but it’s not enough
To make it all okay

You can’t play on broken strings
You can’t feel anything
That your heart don’t want to feel
I can’t tell you something that ain’t real

Oh the truth hurts A lie is worse
I can’t like it anymore
When I love you a little less than before

Oh what are we doing
We are turning into dust
Playing house in the ruins of us

Running back through the fire
When there’s nothing left to save
It’s like chasing the very last train
When it’s too late

Oh it tears me up
I tried to hold but it hurts too much
I tried to forgive but it’s not enough
To make it all okay

You can’t play our broken strings
You can’t feel anything
That your heart don’t want to feel
I can’t tell you something that ain’t real

Oh the truth hurts
And lies worse
I can’t like it anymore
And I love you a little less than before

But we’re running through the fire
When there’s nothing left to say
It’s like chasing the very last train
When we both know it’s too late

You can’t play our broken strings
You can’t feel anything
That your heart don’t want to feel
I can’t tell you something that ain’t real

Oh the truth hurts
And lies worse
I can’t like it anymore
And I love you a little less than before
Oh and I love you a little less than before

Let me hold you for the last time
It’s the last chance to feel again

Someone's Huling El bimbo

(1)
I’ve been itching to blog about this for a long time already, but I dared not to, just to avoid jumping into the bandwagon of this Mcdo commercial craze. But I guess the itch was stronger than that caused by my brother’s hair lice, plus the fact that I love the e-heads.

And no, I’m not mourning over an old love, I’m perfectly happy where I am right now.

It starts with the camera confusion amongst the adults (it gave me a bit of a headache), until it pans to the two cute little kids who then grew up, still in the same Mcdo branch. (don’t they renovate?) The boy, all grown up, realizes that his first love now has a family (and a life) of her own. Then the popular line comes full blast. Paper cut. Gazillions of paper cuts. And I felt my heart bleed after that.

Bitter sweet. Like eating Toblerone dark chocolate, while crying over mem’ries from the twilight zone. Nuni nuni nuni nuni nuni

Right after the mind-stamping “pa-cheeseburger ka naman” comes this emo $#!+@. Geee! Thanks, McDo.

And then I realize, we all have our “huling el bimbo” moments… of dreams that were there but never materialized; of success that was just around the corner but we never really reached, and of course, of love that was wonderfully innocent but never really lasted.

It’s like lying on your rusty rooftop watching your favorite star shine brightly, and see that same star fade into nothing before your very eyes. And when this happens, we then watch the next beautiful star shine brighter than the first (or at least we hope to). Besides, they say that when a star dies, a new one is born (and no, I’m already past my 7 year-old fascination for astronomy).

But questions still crept up in between my coiled up little brain. What if one never finds his star? What if one finds himself alone until there is no more light left in him to shine? What if one was the cause as to why another star died? What if in all galaxies in the world, it was that one star that was meant for the other but the other just had to let it go? I say just go bang your head on the wall and put yourself in a sack (of course I am just kidding).

I say, “to each his own”. Stars are not all alike. Some are meant to be alone. Some come in constellations. Some come in pairs. Some come in threes. And no, I’m not talking about orgies or threesome. Perverts!! I’m talking about who, in the end, we find ourselves with.

But in case you find yourself alone, don’t worry, you can always lead the Singles for Christ or embrace single blessedness in Opus Dei (and no, I’m not being sacrilegious, I’m dead serious). Point is, everyone has his/her purpose in life to fulfil. We don’t have the same destinies. Or if you find yourself alone, maybe you weren’t really looking. Train your eyes, they were meant to see those who are special (may they be your children, your parents, your nieces and nephews, your friends). Or maybe it’s not yet your time. Patience is, after all, a virtue. As to why it is important, is because it makes us pay attention.

Or maybe you’re just afraid. That’s just B@!#llsh&@t.

Or maybe you’re just meant to be an old maid. Or maybe you don’t deserve to be happy (whoever thinks the latter needs to find better friends or maybe see a shrink).

And in case you caused the death of one star, do not die with it. The important thing is to stay. Learn from each encounter. Wasting your light wouldn’t bring you back the star nor will it save you from persecution. The sweetest way to forgiveness is for you to make yourself shine brighter. So that when a new star comes, you would know what to do. Love is always a new thing. Whether you love once, twice or ten times in your lifetime you will always be faced by an unfamiliar situation but you can still be equipped with what maturity you’ve learned from those past loves.

And since February (the love month) is still a few more constellations away, I’d have to reserve the spread of love at a later time.

For now, I bid you all… listen to your heart.

CODA

La la la la, la la, la la, la la la [2x]

Why should I listen to my Heart?
Because you will never be able to silence it.
And if you pretend not to hear what it is telling you,
it will be beating inside your breast,
Repeating over and over what it thinks about life and the world.
- The Alchemist

- post-dedicated to little dipper who, I wish, finds big dipper .

note: some lines borrowed from Paulo Coelho and in case you can’t get a crap out of what I wrote, don’t worry, they have hidden meaning kasi
Translations
(1) And even if we didn’t became a couple, she’d always still be my first love
(2) Our hands intertwined, while not knowing that you’ve though my heart how to love truly
(3) Life gets brighter as while we are in each other’s embrace, slowly my hands slide off your smooth arms
(4) I wish I’ve said it before, and even if it’s out of fad, this is what I know
(5) All of my dreams suddenly faded, in the end I can only dance with you in my dreams

Halloween and Goodbyes

I missed those days, as a kid, when I’d anticipate Halloween and be all too afraid of almost anything. It’s that time when, in my innocent eyes, everything is mystical and magical.

Well, I guess I grew up. I’d see this season as one ordinary day. A day to work, and party afterwards. It lost its magic.

And I hate going to the cemetery. If it’s for a loved ones memory, I’d rather lock myself in a room and look into pictures. Cherish those almost forgotten memories.

I only go to the cemetery just to be with my dad. Why go there anyways? They’re dead. You’d be visiting nothing but a building, a mausoleum, a piece of rock, and a marble tablet. And gain nothing more (for me), but a bout of my perennial allergies for a certain type of grass (and while I’m typing this post, a fever is slowly rising up).
But come to think of it, its never a boring day with my dad in the cemetery. I picked him up this morning in a village in Ortigas and saw him walking around picking flowers (actually they're just grass for me) like an excited kid. Sometimes, the look of innocence from my dad baffles me. How does he keep to be so loving. Guess which flower was from my dad? It’s the one in the middle. It’s possibly the ugliest if placed side by side with the other flowers, but I say, it’s the most special. It was given with so much love of a kid for his dead mother.

Goodbye

But right now, I find a reason to blog about the day of the dead.

There is no more day fit for the temporary death of my blog other than this all hollow’s day.

I’m going away for a while from blogging to kill a rumor concerning myself, and indirectly this blog. Its not to satisfy that person, and accept defeat, but more so for me to have time for one devious plan I have in November.

I’ll be back on the second week of December with news to rock your worlds. And I hope you all do come back to visit my blog.

For now, I will spend time more for my work and my devious plan. I will still have time to visit your blogs, and make comments from time to time. Though I’ll stop temporarily from posting, I will still read your blogs. Blogging has been very therapeutic for me. It was my only solace from all the chaos in the world, a haven for me to hide from time to time. I will miss posting, but I’ll be back.

I’d like to thank all of my blogger friends for all the support. My email and YM are still fully functional, so is my mobile number. Ya’ll can still reach me through those.

For now I leave you all with a video from Beyonce (minus the issue with BC Jean). I learned some important bits from this one, and I hope you all do to. Know how to love your baby. Cheers!

Thanks to ya’ll! Zaijian! Baozhong!

Me and My Glass Slippers

Once upon a time, in a land not so far away, in the castle of Nicanor Abelardo, I donned beautiful clothes. Just for that time, I pretended to be rich. Just for that moment I tried to speak intelligently. Just for a second, I stripped myself of my usual rags and slipped on my glass slippers…

Well, not exactly. They were made of leather and not of glass. I had to buy new shoes at the urging and persuasion of my friends. Plus, I bought new shoes just in case I’d have to run fast up and down the stairs and lose my shoes in between flights at which time, someone might pick it up and look for its right stinking feet.

5:00pm. We were already at the CCP area excited to watch the 8pm-showing of Cinderella. Had a quick light dinner first while looking at the different people obviously there for the same purpose.

By 7:00, we were ready to wait for us to be allowed entrance to the theatre. It was the 2nd of August. And this was how my one-night fairytale started.

The curtains opened with Cinderella wiping the floor with a rag… and a kid wailing “Mama, weewee! Mama, weewee!” twelve times I think. Then… enters my most favourite character for the night… the fairy godmother. Her delivery of lines had spunk with a touch of ghetto. She was refreshingly funny. She had attitude which gave life to most scenes.

A little later on, my curiosity about the evil step sisters and the step mother was satisfied with the entrance of two annoyingly funny characters and a baritone-voiced step mom. They were a funny bunch all through out the play and their costumes were sights to behold.

“The prince is having a ball!” I loved how they choreographed their dance and some funny antics done along the way. The geeky tall lanky girl caught my eyes. She was like a child like we all were that night, tallest as she may have been.

Though someone commented that the Prince Charming isn’t really charming at all, he did deliver well, a bit dramatic though with an accent that I can’t really pin point. Now, the King and Queen were a different matter. They were as interesting as any other lead. It was during their king-queen moments that I first heard the audience go “awwwww.” It was with them that each and everyone’s fairytale materialized… a love that surpassed age and time.

“Impossible…” It was how the song started to prelude to my most awaited scene. The Magic. How the pumpkin changed into that beautiful carriage was how I pictured it done, almost the same as that in the cartoons. The scattered lights, the outline of the carriage, and then the carriage itself… the scene simply left me in awe. I waited on how Cinderella would change into a beautiful gown. But to no avail, there were no flying gowns, no blinding lights, just a switch of characters with awkward wigs… my one and only little disappointment. Though I guess everyone had mix emotions on how the gown should look like.

Music, that one thing that gives soul to a musical play. My portkey to my little world of fantasy… my non-existent musical career (though I could swear hearing applause during bath time).

Second time I heard people go “awwww” was when one song went “Do I love you because you are beautiful, or are you beautiful because I love you…”, “Do I love you because you are perfect or are you perfect because I love you.” It just hit home. (Oh did I just murder the lyrics? I hope not.)

The songs were wonderful, and the orchestra was a very commendable team. They awakened the Disney kid in me. It felt like home. And with all the “awwwwws” I muttered, the last was when the orchestra gave its last note. And then from a kid, I was once again an adult, a very satisfied adult.

And before standing up from my chair, I checked if I lost a shoe. I didn’t. But I did gain a very memorable experience worth going over and over again. I didn’t loose a shoe for someone to fit it in my stinking feet, but I did get myself a poster (ok ok, forgive me, I was broke after this and could only afford a poster for my collection of plays, a cd would be nice though… ahem ahem). Remember…

“Impossible things are happening everyday”

Sleep

Break up song. Sad, but very beautiful.
Sleep. A medium to freeze sadness hoping that when you wake up, all will be ok.

I'm still having some doubts whether I like the new Rivermaya, but I'd have to say, I still like how they make songs. Simple, yet it hits home.

Sleep
Tonight’s the first night
You’re no longer in my arms
A little colder
Nothing but the darkness and the stars

My hand wanders through
The space where you used to be
I really wish that you’d
Still come home to me
Until then I’ll sleep
Sleep.
Remember yesterday
When your smile filled every room
Imagined forever with you
Now you’re gone too soon
I can feel you calling
There’s no place that I’d rather be
Just here with you, sleeping
If only in my mind
Until then I’ll sleep
Sleep.
I can feel you calling
There’s no place that I’d rather be
Just here with you, sleeping
If only in my mind
Until then I’ll sleep

Busy. hopefully I'll get to post a real one this weekend.
Fever. Still have one. Work. Lots of em. Zits. They're starting to come out. Stress. Synonymous to me. Mix them all up, you've got one hell of green brownish shit. Toilet Drama. My apologies.
